Hey all! My name is Ms. Lenski and I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade Social Studies this year. I am extremely excited! I look forward to a school year that will bring with it many new experiences and memories. Just a little about myself, I received a bachelor's degree in history with a minor in psychology from the University at Albany in upstate New York. I am new to the state of Texas, having only been here for a few months. I am originally from Long Island, New York. In my free time I enjoy hiking and playing the piano. My favorite books are the Harry Potter series and as lame as it sounds my favorite movie is Titanic. I could watch that movie over and over and never get sick of it. Another thing about me is that I own the the most adorable puppy in the world. He's a whippet named Riggs and I'm sure you'll hear all about him this year. My favorite food is a tie between pizza and queso dip. I love Disney World and I am a huge New York Mets fan. When it comes to my favorite historical time period it is hard to say. I enjoy reading about the ancient Greeks and Egyptians, but I also love contemporary American
history. I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you and I hope that my passion for history rubs off on you!
